Obituary

Louanna McCune, 99, of South Charleston went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2022.

She was born on November 28, 1922 to the late Richard and Effie Clark Knuckles.

Louanna was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church. She loved hunting, fishing, and camping. Louanna even had two articles written about her hunting in the Charleston papers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Webster-McCune; son, Richard Paul McCune (Linda Lou Johnson); brothers, Elton and John Knuckles; sisters, Leva Walton, Dora Truly, Geneva Knuckles, and Hannah Moles; and great-grandson, Cagun Vandall.

Louanna is survived by her sons, Jack Webster McCune (Carolyn) and John Roy McCune (Debra); daughters, Sophia Christian Colunga and Ida Mae McCormick; 10 grandchildren; and an abundance of great and great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at the Upper Mausoleum Chapel in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, with the Reverend Jim Lennox officiating.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the Upper Mausoleum Chapel in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
