Louisa Maxine Cook, 94, of Dunbar passed away on February 6, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House West.

Maxine was born February 11, 1922 to James and Corba Combs. She was a graduate of South Charleston High School and a member of Dunbar United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Darrell Cook; brothers, Noel, Forest, and Frank; sisters, Alma, Madeline and Marie.

Maxine is survived by daughters, Susan Rolle of Florida and Amy Staup of Ohio; sister Beulah George of Georgia; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one special niece, Karen Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 11 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Dr. Okey Harless officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
