Louise C. Hall, 86, of Looneyville, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009 in Thomas Memorial Hospital ICU following a long illness.
She was born September 11, 1922 in Portsmouth, Ohio and had been employed as a switchboard operator for the Charleston Gazette and the Diamond Department Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Clyde Hall, parents, Hans and Nyree Jespersen, sister, Jean Coleman and brother, Ralph Jespersen.
Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Smith and her husband, Mike, who were her caregivers, of Looneyville, Helen Turner and her husband, Wayne of Diamond and Debbie Mullens Clifton of Cornelius, NC. Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren, Cindy Jones of Owensboro, KY, Billy Simpson of Jamestown, NC, Julie Johnson of Newton, WV, Becky Moore of Dixie, Jeffrey Jespersen of Charleston, Anthony Jespersen of Belle, Christy Clifton of Bedford, VA, Jonathan Clifton of Richmond, VA; 26 great grandchildren and her niece, Carolyn Cooper of Port Angeles, WA.
At her request, Mrs. Hall will be cremated and there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd, W., Charleston, WV 25312-2536.
