Louise Withrow Morris, wife of the late Tom Morris, who owned the former Tom's Market in Dunbar, went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2010, after an extended illness.
She was born September 21, 1929 and was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Leona Withrow and brother, Charles Withrow.
She loved her church, Perrow Presbyterian Church, especially her Sunday School class and Senior Exercise Group. She also loved quilting and crafts. She had lived in Cross Lanes most of her life and was a 1947 graduate of Dunbar High School.
She is survived by her son, Keith and daughter, Jennifer Lawrentz; sister, Mary Thaxton and her husband, Russell all of Cross Lanes; four grandchildren, Christopher and Laura Morris, Zack and Jacob Lawrentz and Josh Parsons. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
A service to honor the life of Louise Withrow Morris will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 14, at the Perrow Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jack Maxwell and the Rev. Keith Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
