Louise Tinsley's Obituary
Louise H. Tinsley, 80, of Cross Lanes, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2009 in CAMC Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and enjoyed cooking, traveling, knitting and working crossword puzzles. Louise retired from WV Department of Transportation. She was a graduate of Nitro High School and was a member of Nitro Alumni Boosters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt "Junior" Tinsley; parents, Hugh and Velma Bailes Hamrick; brother, Harold Hamrick; sister, Jean Kesling; grandson, Daniel Eastwood.
Louise is survived by her children, David Eastwood and his wife Sandy of Hurricane, Donna Eastwood Nielsen and her husband Rick of Leonardtown, MD, Jack Eastwood and his wife Elizabeth of Cross Lanes, Dennis Tinsley and his wife Kittie of Kenna, Paula Brown and her husband Ron of Cross Lanes; sister, Betty Ann Johnson of MD; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. John Rollins officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, February 22, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
