Lovella Marie Hannan passed away on May 18, 2014 at Hubbard Hospice House West.

She was born in Boone County on June 16, 1930 to the late Noah and Mabel Foster.

Lovella was a member of Smith Creek Church of the Nazarene, a Sunday School teacher and treasurer. She enjoyed being outside and working in her yard and flowers. Lovella loved the Lord most of all but loved her family second most. She was a very loving, kind, strict, non-judgmental woman who always found something good in everyone. She always said "You don't know what that person is going through." She was a devoted housewife for 59 years, a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom and mama.

In addition to her parents, Lovella was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Hannan; daughter, Dremma Kay Hannan; granddaughter, Mellissa Hannan; great grandson, William (Carsun) Gragg; and brother, Ronald Foster.

She is survived by her sons, Garland Hannan (Gloria) of Dunbar, Bill Hannan Jr. (Denise) of Alum Creek, Kermit Hannan (Debbie) of South Charleston; daughter, Debbie Gragg (Ralph) of South Charleston; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Foster and David Foster; sisters, Lora Mae Clinton and Mary Ellen Sowards; and many other loving family members.

The family would like to give a very special thank you to her sister Lora Clinton and caregivers, Terry Thaxton and Sharon Mynes.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Dewey Bourne officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
