Lowell George Willis Jr., 49, of Charleston, departed this life to be with our Heavenly Father on April 23, 2023.

He was born on August 26, 1973 to Delores Hancock as the 2nd of five children.

"Jr" as everyone knew him was a lover of fishing, working on cars, spending time with his family and just enjoying life.

He was preceded in death by his baby brother, David Booker Sr.; grandmother, Violet L. Bush; uncles, Charles Mitchell and Gary Mitchell; and nephew, Desean Braxton.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kiara Fouch, Brooklyn Ward and Trace Willis; mother, Delores Hancock; sisters, Angelia Howze and Eboni Coltey; brother, Kevin Braxton; special nephew, Artie Carter Jr.; girlfriend, Wendy Powell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Elder Bonita Mitchell officiating.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
