Obituary

Lula Phyllis "Hollie" Hager, 74, wife of the late Lt. Commander Clarence George Hager for 29 years, went to meet the Lord on Friday, December 7, 2007.

She passed away at the Hubbard Hospice House after surgery for a hiatal hernia at CAMC –Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hager was retired from Kanawha County, having worked in the Voters Registration Office for many years. She was a member of the Teays Valley Missionary Baptist Church. "Hollie" was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a wonderful homemaker.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Lee Hudson and Truman Junior Hudson and his wife, Jonnie of Hernshaw and Charles David Hudson and his wife, B. J. of Marmet; his daughter, Sharon Sue Hudson Painter and her husband Stephen of Hernshaw; brother, Lyle Hill of Columbus, OH and sisters, Geraldine Hutchinson of Teays Valley and Barbara Shaffer of North Carolina. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 11, at the Pineview Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Orgas, with the Rev. Fairley R. McCormick officiating. There will be no visitation.
