Madeline E. Cantrell, 86, of South Charleston, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation for Dunbar.
She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in South Charleston.
Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Cantrell and her son, Joseph R. Cantrell.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis J. Lehew and son-in-law, Robert Lehew of Columbus, Ohio, Rosemary Dolin of South Charleston and Patricia Nobel of Nitro; son, Henry D. Cantrell and daughter-in-law, Jean Cantrell of Charleston; brothers, Henry Harkins of Palm Coast, Fla., Harold Harkins of South Charleston; sister, Kathleen Stump of Charleston. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, Debbie Lehew, Charlotte Diamond, Robin Lehew, Sally Bailey, Dina Davis, Joe Cantrell, Jr., Kristen and Kimberly Cantrell, Paul, John and Matthew Cantrell, Nancy Miller, Alex, Bryan and Denver Sirbaugh, Greg Noble and Chessa Hunt, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Bob Otey officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
