Madelyn D. Smith, 78, of Sod went to her heavenly home on March 9, 2014 to be reunited with her beloved son, Rocky. She was a beloved mother of many. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother. Madelyn is survived by her sons, Franklin, Robert (Lisa), Dale, and Shannon (Angie); daughters, Cherita (Ronnie), Deannie (Charlie), Diane, Delilah (Dan), LoisAnn, Robin (Pat), and Cammi (Steve); 28 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Arrangements are in care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
