Mae Oma Pauley "Omie", age 80, of South Charleston, passed away Saturday November 14, 2015, at home.
Mae was born December 16, 1934, to Edward and Gladys Irene Gillispie. She was a very strong woman who put everyone before herself.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Billie Pauley Sr. and her son Billie Pauley II.
Mae is survived by her daughters, Janet Turley and husband, Ronnie, of South Charleston, Nina Brown and her companion, Debbie Choice, of Charleston; sisters, Gladys Gore and Imogene Hartwell and husband, Clifford; grandchildren, Gary Carrier III, Jessica Carrier, Elizabeth Turley, Billie Pauley III, Joshua Pauley, Cecil Davis and Roger Brown; 13 great-grandchildren, Aubrey Bailey, Nolan Bailey, Maykayla Pauley, Candace Pauley, Emma Pauley, Nicole Pauley, Joshua Pauley II, Jazzlena Davis, Alicia Davis, Khloe Davis, Larina Brown, Trevon Brown and Dewayne Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Doyle D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may gather with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
