Maggie Fay Caudill, 86, of Dunbar, passed away March 25, 2017 at her home.
She was born April 30, 1930 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Lycander and Ellen Blair. Maggie is the last surviving member of her family. She was the last of eight brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by husband, Duel Caudill; and daughter, Karen Taylor.
Maggie is survived by her son, Roger Caudill of Dunbar; granddaughters, Valerie Mullins and husband, Tim of Wardensville, WV, and Michele Smith and husband, Eric of San Diego, CA.
Maggie was one of the Rosie the Riveters that built B-29 bombers in Detroit MI during World War II. She also worked 13 years for Millers Drug Store in Dunbar. Maggie also received her Real Estate License. She worked at Crown Realty for eight years and was one of the top salespersons in the Kanawha Valley for the first five years.
People who came in contact with Maggie always enjoyed her stories about her childhood in Paintsville and her sense of humor. Maggie was a member of Dunbar Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Greg Hudson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
