MaKayla OsCiaria Miller, a resident of South Charleston, died unexpectedly on December 24, 2017 at the age of 21.

MaKayla was born May 21, 1996 in Logan. She graduated from Fairmont Senior High School. MaKayla attended WVU and was currently enrolled at West Virginia State University.

MaKayla is survived by her mother, Stephanie Dawn Southers; fiancé, Leann Nicole Toler; father, Osie Richard Miller; sisters, Arionna LaShay Crowder and Kiara Natiya Crowder; brother, Taj Miller; paternal grandmother, Annette Miller and husband, Clyde Blueford; paternal grandfather, Pete Roach; aunts, Angela Miller, Anaya Parsons and Taleka Carson; uncles, Chris Southers, Andre Roach and Guy Miller; cousins, Shawntah Martin, Kiara Beard and Autavia Williams; and numerous family and loving friends.

MaKayla was a caring and loving person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved playing sports and vacationing at the beach.

MaKayla will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

The wake will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on January 6, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 7, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
