Manford Lee Hayes' Obituary
Manford Lee Hayes, 82, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Dunbar and was retired from Firestone. Manford was a volunteer fireman in the City of Dunbar for 33 years and was a 50 year member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics.
Surviving are his loving wife, Reba Hayes; son, Melvin Clyde Hayes and his wife, Christine of Centerville, Va., daughters, Lee Ann Kinder and her husband, Tom of South Charleston and Diana Jenkins of Dunbar; brother, Dana K. Hayes and his wife, Pam of Dunbar. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Mike Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Boulvevard, W., Charleston, WV 25312-2536.
