Marc S. McMellon, 50, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2012, at his home in Charleston.

Marc was a lifelong resident of Charleston, a city which he described as "the only place he ever felt at home." Marc is remembered fondly as an artist, a math whiz and a movie buff.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Dunlap King, two beloved sisters, and extended family throughout the valley, most notably his Aunt Kay.

In honor of his wishes, no public service will be held. The family will gather later this month to celebrate his life.
