Margaret Evelyn Coleman's Obituary
Margaret Evelyn Coleman, 97, of Hurricane, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
Margaret was retired from the office of Dr. James F. Slaughter and formerly attended Teays Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Felton Coleman, and her parents, Hilary and Virgie Roberts.
Surviving are her children, Billie Ann Auer (J.C.) and James F. "Buddy" Coleman (Hope); grandchildren, Kacie Gillam (Tim), Todd Coleman, Leslie Shreve (Don) and Christina Salisbury (Jerry); great-grandchildren, Meghan Burnham (Craig), Parker Gillam, Sydney Gillam, Chris Seckman, Jessica Seckman, Leigha Shreve, Hannah Shreve, A. J. Salisbury and Drew Salisbury; great-great granddaughter to be born in September.
The family would like to thank all the staff of Teays Valley Genesis Health Care Center for their excellent care and loving compassion shown to our mother these last seven years. She loved each of you very much.
A celebration of Margaret's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, in the lower chapel at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans with the Rev. Dwight Kay Lowther officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Ekklessia Ministries, 110 Shepherd Ave. #2, South Charleston, WV 25303
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
