Margaret Katherine Sharp, 84, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Hubbard Hospice House.
She was a retired audit clerk for the State of WV with 16 years of service, served as a bookkeeper for Tiskelwah School for many years and worked for several years at the Diamond Department Store. Mrs. Sharp was a longtime member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess.
Surviving are her loving husband of 64 years, William Robert "Bob" Sharp; son, Robert Glen Sharp and his wife, Robin of Charleston; daughter, Katherine Lynn Stout and her husband, Lennie of Charleston; grandchildren, Jeremie Franklin "Jeremy" Stout, James Robert "J. R." Sharp and Whitney Nicole Sharp.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Stoner officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Pocatalico.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 23, at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
