Margel Barr Cain, 87, of Dunbar, passed away on December 5, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House West.

She was born on August 28, 1929 in Moorefield to the late Glenn and Delena Barr.

Margel was a cook for Kanawha County Schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Edward Cain, sisters, Elma Wilson and Sissie Barr.

Margel is survived by her daughter, Vickie Lynn Cain of Dunbar, grandsons, Michael Cain of St. Albans and Eric McIntyre of Dunbar; great granddaughter, Ashby Olivia Cain of Tornado; sisters, Louella Beeler and her husband, Bennie, of Strasburg, VA and Jean Swick of Petersburg.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Hubbard Hospice House West for their wonderful care of Margel.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Moorefield.
