Marguerite Barnett's Obituary
Marguerite Bess Barnett, 83, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in Thomas Memorial Hospital.
She was a former long time employee with Bess's Market on Roxalana Road and also had served as a Committee Woman for the Republican Party. Mrs. Barnett was a member of the Dunbar Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and had been a Dunbar resident for 75 years.
Surviving are her son, Frank Barnett and his wife, Janet of Cross Lanes; daughter, Laura Lea Lilly and her husband, George of Dunbar; grandchildren, Foster and Jeff Lilly of Dunbar and Jimmy and Matt Barnett of Cross Lanes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Benny Bess officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
