It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marian Frances (Harrah) Copen. Marian passed Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at the age of 73 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, WV.

Marian was a life long resident of West Virginia and was born in Charleston on December 25, 1952 to John and Mary Harrah.

She graduated from Charleston High School and one of her favorite things in life was owning and running "Oak Street Station" hot dog stand in St. Albans.

Marian loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and strived with all her heart to please Him.  She was active in church playing piano, organ, publishing church paper, and as a Sunday school teacher.

One of her greatest loves in life was her three granddaughters whom she prayed for without ceasing.

She was preceded in death by her father, John and brothers, Allen and John John.

Marian is survived by her mother, Mary; brother, Robert; her loving husband, Rodney; daughter, Christina; son, Matthew; and her loving granddaughters, Emily, Evelyn, and Eliana.

Marian desired immediate burial.  There will be no traditional funeral service.
