Marian Elizabeth Light, 89, of Dunbar, entered Heaven's gate on March 2, 2017.

She was born in Wolf Creek to the late Earl and Roxie Sarver Kessinger.

Marian was married on September 2, 1956 to her husband, Robert Light.

She was a graduate of West Virginia Tech with a degree in Biology. She coached girls' basketball in Alderson, was a member of Dunbar First Baptist Church, and loved and reading and bird-watching.

In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Elaine Zimmerman.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Dewey Light; and son, Robert Michael Light.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, March 6 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, with the Rev. Jason Quintrell officiating.

There will be a visitation on Monday, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. when a procession will leave for the cemetery.
