Marie Cross' Obituary
Marie Ashton Cross, 95, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Brandywine Nursing Home in Greenfield, Ind.
She was a homemaker and was formerly of Cross Lanes. Marie was a member of the Baber Agee United Methodist Church and attended the Community Chapel. She graduated from Union District High School in 1932.
Marie loved to quilt and made lovely quilts by hand for years. She was never married but had lots of friends. In her elder years, she liked to do cross-word puzzles.
Marie is survived by her nieces, Doris Hawkins of Continental, OH, Doris Jean Chitwood of Englewood, OH and Martha Lee Reed of Indianapolis, Indiana; and one nephew, Clarence E. Cross of Vandalia, OH.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 6, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Phillip Conn officiating. Burial will follow in Lanham Cemetery, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
