Obituary

Mark Christopher Wright, 45, of Cross Lanes passed away Thursday, December 14, 2006, at his home after a long illness.

Mark was born on April 18, 1961. He lived most of his life in South Charleston, and for awhile in North Carolina where he was a master electrician and the president of the Pit Bull Association of North Carolina. Mark was an avid fisherman his favorite spot was on the Cranberry River.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Jack L. Wright.

He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Jo Wright, step sons, Eddie and Corey Moore and stepdaughter, Katie Mathews and her husband, Andrew; and Mark's pride and joy, his granddaughter, Isabelle Mathews. His is also survived by his mother, Judy McClanahan of Diamond; brothers, Greg Wright and his wife, Dee of South Charleston, Jason Wright, and his girlfriend, Valerie Marietta of St. Albans; sisters, Kim Jackson of Cross Lanes, Jackie Wright of St. Albans; stepmother, Sandra Wright of South Charleston; stepbrothers, Greg, Vincent, and Todd Wheeler; stepsisters, Terry Riffe, Lisa Lanham. Uncle Mark will be missed by a host of nieces and nephews, and his special friend, Joe Jarrell.

Mark was known to his family and friends and himself as "The Reflection of Perfection".

At Mark's request, he will be cremated, and there will be a memorial service held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Bill Frye officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
