Mary E. Catlette, 83, of South Charleston, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Valley Center after an extended illness.
She was formerly employed by C&P Telephone Co., and later worked for the Kanawha County Board of Education as a clerk at Montrose Elementary School. Mary was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in South Charleston.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Cartmill and Anna Marie Boggs.
Mrs. Catlette is survived by her husband, William H. "Bill" Catlette; sons, William H. "Bill" Catlette, Jr. of Collierville, TN and James R. Catlette of Washington, DC; brother, Russell Cartmill of Eatonton, GA; grandchildren, Will Catlette of Naples, FL and Kristi Shea of Savannah, GA; great grandchildren, Isaac Lay and Kadyn Shea.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Feb. 17, Saturday at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston, with the Rev. Gary McGrew officiating. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Heart & Hand House, 212 "D" Street, South Charleston, WV 25303 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 1111 E. Lee Street, Charleston, WV 25301.
