Mary R. Cooke, 89, of Dunbar, passed away August 20, 2006, at CAMC-Memorial Division.
Mary passed away on a Sunday, doing what she loved—playing the piano and singing. Mary trained many choirs, trios and quartets over the years. She was directing the Senior Citizens Choir when she had an aneurysm. God called her home where she will continue in His Heavenly Choir.
Mary was a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. She had worked in missions, had been a secretary in the WV State Agriculture Dept. and in a local law firm.
Mary's first love was music. She loved to play, sing, write and arrange Christian music.
