Mary "Peggy" Eberly, 72, of Charleston, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, February 20, 2017, surrounded by her family at home.

She was born in South Charleston on September, 11, 1944, to the late Junior and Margaret McIntosh.

Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, caregiver and friend to all. She loved gardening and never met a stranger. Family was the most important thing to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold Jones Sr.; and her late husband, Laverne Eberly; son, Arnold Jones Jr.; and special friend, Frank Vance.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Wally Jones and wife, Robin, of Cross Lanes, Todd Jones and wife, Cindy, of Charleston and Arnold Jones III of Charleston; daughter, Jane Stoner and husband, Shane, of Charleston, 18 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Bert Hall officiating. Burial will be Saturday in Shultz Family Cemetery, South Charleston. A procession to the cemetery will leave Keller Funeral Home at 10 a.m.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
