Mary Louise Forte' of Dunbar passed away May 20, 2013 peacefully in her sleep.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Ferguson Memorial Baptist Church. She loved to spend time in her yard planting flowers, tending the vegetable garden, and enjoyed preparing food for special events at the church. Mae would always keep up with the current fashion trends by hanging out with her grandchildren, shopping at the mall and eating at different restaurants.

She was preceded in death by husband, Roosevelt Forte', sons Norris and Nathan Forte', siblings Joseph McCollum, Lucy Marshall and Lucille White.

She is survived by a sister, Emma L. Parker of Beckley; daughters, Juanita Hicks of Institute, Cynthia Ruffin of Charleston, Emma Forte' of Covington, GA, and Michele Forte' of Akron, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 26, at 2 p.m., in the chapel at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Gerald Clark officiating. Entombment will be in Cunningham Memorial Park Mausoleum, St. Albans.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
