Mary Jane Lee, 80, of St. Albans , went to her Heavenly home on September 26, 2023 from complications after major surgery.

Mary was born on November 25, 1942 to the late Charles and Almeda Cottrell of Richwood, WV.

After graduating Richwood High School and a brief job as a telephone switchboard operator, she went to work for Heck's Department Store where she met her true love, Billy Ray Lee.  They married on Christmas Day in 1964.  On November 19, 1969 their only daughter, Linda Renea Lee was born.  The attended South West Church of God where they started their walk with Jesus.  Both were instrumental in the birth of Maranatha Fellowship.  She was a housewife and stay at home mom until 1982 when she went to work for Alford Pools.  In the beginning of the 90's, she became the Secretary/Accounts Manager for Designer's Sign Company until the company closed.  Mary was the Treasurer for Maranatha for many years, and later went to work in the office until she retired in 2007.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Harry; sisters, Marilyn, Betty, and Nancy

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill; daughter, Linda; grandson, Nicholas; several nephews, a niece, and many very dear friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m on Tuesday, October 3, at Maranatha Fellowship, St. Albans, with Pastor Darren Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Maranatha Fellowship, St. Albans.
