Mary Louise
Lanham
November 11, 1956 – August 8, 2022
Mary Louise Lanham, 65, 0f Charleston, unexpectedly gained her wings on August 8, 2022.
She was born on November 11, 1956 in Charleston to the late Delmar C Lanham and Irene B Lanham.
Mary was a graduate of Dunbar High School and later attended Seminary School for Biblical Studies (shocking I know). She spent years as forklift operator and continued in the manufacturing industry until her retirement.
She was one of the most unique people you will ever meet. Mary loved shooting pool, riding motorcycles, collecting bald eagles and her favorite holiday was 4/20. She worked hard her entire life, she played even harder and she loved fiercely. Mary spoke her mind and it was impossible to predict what was going to come out of her mouth. You never had to question what she thought about something.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Misty A. Lanham; brothers, Gary L., Delmar W. and Dennis F. Lanham; and niece, Leslie "Cricket" Lanham.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Fran Seales and her husband Ray of Tampa, FL; grandson, Jalen Seales of Tampa, FL; sisters, Denice Lanham and Phyllis King both of Charleston; bonus daughters, Erin Stuck of St. Albans and Jami McMillion of Belle; special mention of nieces and nephews that were so much more, Emily Lanham of Pleasantville, PA, Bryne Lanham of Barberton, OH, Hailee King of Charleston, Michelle Lanham of Canadohta Lake, PA; and host of other nieces and nephews that also meant the world to her.
There are no words to describe how much Mary will be missed by those who loved her. She is now reunited with her daughter Misty and niece Leslie "Cricket" who she missed so much.
May you Fly High and Rest In Peace!
