Mary Lou Walker, 76, of Dunbar passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

She was born in Clendenin, WV to the late Isaac and Virginia Wright.

Mary was a proud graduate of Herbert Hoover High School.  She dedicated her career as a beloved cook for Kanawha County Schools, nourishing countless young lives.  Mary was also a  member of Dunbar First Church of God.  In her free time, she loved reading, quilting, and to cross stitch.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert E. Walker.

Mary is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Bailey (Eddie), Caren Bryant (Todd), and Cindy Walker; grandchildren, Charles Ellison, Tori Campbell (Cody), Jacob Walker, Maleigha Bryan, and Abbigail Bailey; and great grandchildren, Denver and Ezra Campbell.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 21 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
