Mary Ann Young's Obituary
Mary "Ann" Young, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, May 28, 2011.
She is the daughter of Emory and Lessie Young of Dunbar.
She is preceded in death by her father, Emory Young; sister, Judy Sue; her loving and caring grandparents, Virgil and Mary Baldwin; aunt, Pearl Baldwin.
She is survived by her mother, Lessie Young of Dunbar; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Keith Whitten of Cross Lanes; aunt, Nora Smithson of Colorado; two nieces and one nephew.
She was mentally retarded from birth, leaving her with a child-like spirit and a love for all whom met her.
She had been living at ResCare in St. Albans for several years and was well taken care of.
The family wishes to offer their sincere thanks to ResCare and HospiceCare for their wonderful service and support.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 31 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
