Mauna Lei Hayes Barr, 75, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 7, 2020.

She was born on December 16, 1944, to the late Alack and Dee Hayes.

Mauna was a lifelong Christian. She worked as a nurse for 35 years at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barr Sr.

Mauna is survived by her son, Robert Barr II and wife Connie; grandchildren, John Michael Osborne of Dunbar, Brandon Lee Barr of Charleston, Amanda Christine Osborne of North Carolina, Jessica Sue Thompson of South Charleston, and Steven James Osborne and wife Jessica of Charleston; great-grandchildren, Olivia Thompson, Iris Mabe, and Harper Carte.

There is no service scheduled at this time.
