Maxine Smith's Obituary
Maxine Smith, 79, of Dunbar, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2006, in CAMC General Hospital, after a short illness.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dunbar and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Her son, David L. Smith, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Bruce D. Smith; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce D., Jr. and Mela Smith of Altus, OK, Richard C. and Teresa Smith of Dunbar, Timothy W. and Sherry Smith of Charleston; daughter, Sandra and Allen of Hartsville, SC; daughter-in-law, Janice Smith of Dunbar; brothers, Charles Davis of El Dorado, OK, Walter Davis of Dayton, OH, John Davis of Barberton, OH; grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Matthew Smith, MaryEllen Smith, Brittany Smith, Christine Smith, Jimmy Shook, Phillip Hedrick, Lindsey Hedrick, Jason Crist.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to: First Baptist Church of Dunbar, 16th Street & Myers Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, at First Baptist Church of Dunbar, with the Rev. Thomas E. Stevens, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
