Maynard D. Mcdonnell's Obituary
Maynard D. McDonnell, 86, of St. Albans passed away on November 9, 2015 after a long illness.
He retired December 1989 from West Virginia Public Service Commission. Maynard was a longtime member of Dunbar United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick D. and Lona McDonnell; loving wife of 62 years, Joyce McDonnell; and brother, Dewight McDonnell.
Maynard is survived by sons, Gary and Larry McDonnell; daughters, Carolyn Young and Cheryl Clendenin; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dewitt and Duane McDonnell; and sister, Jane McDonnell.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 12 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor John Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave. SW, South Charleston, WV 25309 or Dunbar United Methodist Church, 1401 Myers Ave., Dunbar, WV 25064.
