Maysel Gladys Murphy, of South Charleston, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007, at Hubbard Hospice House.
Born in Clay on February 12, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Ada Boggs Schoolcraft. She was a charter member of Holley Memorial Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Russell James Murphy; daughter, Sharon Faith Johnson; brother, Buster Boggs.
Maysel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Mitchell Hudson of South Charleston; sons and daughters-in-law, Russell J. and Connie Murphy of Dix, IL, Robert B. and Joyce Murphy of Ozark, AL; brothers, William S. Triplett, Jr., Francis Triplett, Philip Triplett, Thomas Triplett, Charles Triplett, Homer "Jake" Triplett, Russell Triplett; sister, Lois Philips; 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 15, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
