Meghan Laine McDowell, 24, of Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2006.
Meghan was a graduate of Hurricane High School, class of 2000, and was enrolled to begin at Charleston School of Beauty Culture. She was currently employed at Cracker Barrel, Kanawha City.
Meghan is survived by her father, Donald Jenkins of Charleston; mother and step-father, Sandra and Eugene McCallister of Ona; maternal grandfather, Halden "Pete" McDowell of Clendenin; half-brother, Lee Jenkins of Charleston; aunt, Lenora Stover of Hurricane, uncles, Mike McDowell of Teays Valley, Derek McDowell of Wilmington; cousins, Jessica Stover of New York, Joel Stover of Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2006, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Interment will follow in Enon Cemetery, Ona.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
