Mercedes Sky Gibson, born on September 22, 2001 in Charleston, WV, illuminated our lives with her radiant presence until she peacefully passed away on May 31, 2024 in South Charleston, WV.

Mercedes was a beacon of light, capable of brightening even the darkest of rooms and bringing joy to the weariest of souls.  Her infectious smile had the power to uplift anyone around her, leaving a lasting imprint of love and warmth.

As a devoted stay-at-home mommy to her two precious daughters, Nova Gibson and Oakley Radabaugh, Mercedes poured her heart into nurturing her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved girls, finding joy and laughter with all their milestones.

A cherished big sister to her younger brother Dallas Gibson, and a loving fiancé to Brian Radabaugh, Mercedes cherished the bonds of family and friends above all else.  She openly acknowledged her need for her mother's guidance and support cherishing their mother/daughter bond.

Mercedes will forever be remembered for her sweetness, innocence, infectious humor and zest for life.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by her surviving family members; daughters, Nova and Oakley; mother, Mitzi Parsons; father, Darin Gibson; brother, Dallas Gibson; nephew, Kayden Pickens; fiancé, Brian Radabaugh; grandmother, April Workman; mother-in-law, Alicia Melton; sisters-in-law, Kirsten Cole and Taylor Deal; four-legged brother, Casper (Sisy's Capper-Capper)……and countless other friends and family from near and far.

Though Mercedes may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness and grace.  Rest in Peace my sweet angel.

A candle light memorial service will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 9 at Wine Cellar Lake, Dunbar.  Come as you, your love and support mean so much our family.
