Michael "Mike" Beavers passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

He was born in Huntington, grew up in Charleston, and was a long-time resident of Dunbar. Mike was a graduate of George Washington High School and retired from a long career with Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic and C&P Telephone Company).

Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He enjoyed traveling to West Virginia State Parks and the beach, watching football, listening to classic rock, and living life to the fullest with his close friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena "Vickie" Beavers.

Mike is survived by his father, William F. Beavers; mother, Geneva Beavers; daughter, Lesli Beavers; son, Christopher Beavers (Samantha); grandson, Carter Brooks; brother, William J. Beavers; sisters, Becky Montgomery (Mike) and Carol Callicutt (Debbie); and Mike Wilson (Dorothy).

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, February 20 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor David Keeney officiating.

Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home.
