Michael "Mike" Chandler, 65, of Ashford passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.

Mike was retired from Kroger in Madison.  He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and sitting in his rocking chair watching his favorite show, Andy Griffith.  But the thing he enjoyed most was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph E. Chandler and Bertha L. Gillispie Chandler; son, Michael "Mikey" Chandler; brother, Steve Chandler; and sister, Kathy Chandler Barr.

Mike is survived by his son, Adam Chandler of Ashford; brother, Danny Chandler (Elaine) of Letart; sisters, Jane Smith (Luke) of Nellis, Patricia Snead of South Carolina, and Charlene Chandler of Cross Lanes; and host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mike will be greatly missed, but we take peace in knowing that he accepted Christ and will be reunited with his loved ones.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
