Michael Guy "Mikie" Deneau, 61, of Charleston, entered the presence of our Lord and Saviour, Friday, July 6, 2012.

Mikie was born on October 14, 1949, in Trenton, MI. living his formative and later years in the Charleston area. He was a 1968 graduate of South Charleston High School and worked many years for Chrysler Engine Plant in Detroit, MI. He loved working outside in the yard and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.

He is survived by his daughter, Mindy of Colorado; son, Joey of California; mother, Doris H. Palmer of Charleston; sister, Linda Copen, and her husband, Bob of South Charleston; brothers, Richard Deneau, and his wife Nobleen of Taylor, MI, Randy Cummings of Charleston, Dale Cummings, and his wife, Reba of St. Albans; 5 nieces; 3 nephews; several great nieces and several great nephews; and his beloved pet and constant companion, Heidi. Mikie will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, at Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Sissonville.

Friends may call 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
