Michael Wayne Hinkle, 27, of Cross Lanes passed away very unexpectedly on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home that he shared with his wife, dogs, and cat.

Michael was born on January 25, 1996 in Charleston to his parents, Charles and Amy Hinkle. He enjoyed camping, kayaking and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his sister, MaryAnna, his maternal grandparents, Nannie Bell and James Shafer Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Lisa and Larry Light.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Tiffany Dawn Hinkle; mother, Amy Hinkle (Jim) of Charleston; father, Charles Hinkle (Margaret) of Clendenin; brother, Daniel Hinkle (Kami) of Clendenin; sisters, Tasha Roton (Jason) of Charleston; Kimberly Hinkle (Matthew) of Elkview; Aunt Cyndi and Uncle Bud Shafter of Clendenin; nieces Pyper, Jaylea, Envy, Angel, Zoey and Cebrina; many cousins and lots of friends.

He loved his wife; nieces; dogs, Mindy, Ivy, Baby Girl, Jupiter, and Mocha; cat, KitKat; and his family.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar,
