Michael Richard Johnson's Obituary
Michael Richard Johnson 61, of Cross Lanes died peacefully Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
Mr. Johnson was retired from the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways with 29 years of service as Property Manager for the Right of Way Division. He was a graduate of Marshall University, served in the United States Army, and worked previously for the West Virginia Tax Department.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bob" Johnson.
He is survived by his mother, Madge Johnson, of Bradenton, Florida, a brother, Robert Scott Johnson and two nephews, Sammy and Joey of St. Albans, West Virginia.
A gathering for friends and family will be held from 3 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, at Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
