Michael Edward Means, 40, of South Charleston, departed this life from a sudden illness on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

He was born on August 24, 1981 in Charleston.

Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Fay Means; and his maternal grandparents, Jerry Young and Irene Kidd.

He is survived by his two sons, Dustin and Collin Means of St. Albans; father, Carl Means (Charlene) of Danville; mother, Terry Cobb (Jackie) of St. Albans; sister, Kristy Means of South Charleston; step siblings, AJ, JR, Tracey, Tyler and Katie of St. Albans; nephews, Tommy and Christopher Means of South Charleston; and niece, Kendra Means of South Charleston.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday , May 11 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Darrell Searls officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
