Michael James Taylor, 53, of Dunbar, passed away suddenly on Monday June 27, 2022.

He was born on March 24, 1969, in Germany, to James Edward Taylor and Donna Marie Taylor.

Michael loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time digging ginseng and yellow root. Michael was an avid Cowboys and Mountaineers fan. He spent the last few years of his life taking care of his mother. Michael was loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lori Ann Russell.

Michael is survived by his sons, Michael James Taylor, Jr. of North Carolina and Benny Taylor of California; daughter, Michelle Doretta Taylor of St. Albans; four wonderful grandchildren; father, James Edward Taylor of Anstead; mother, Donna Marie Taylor of Dunbar; sisters, Vicki Lynn Taylor of Summersville and Michelle Lee Hardy and her husband Carl Gilbert Hardy of Pool.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
