Michael B. Vealey, 56, of Belle, WV formerly Cabin Creek, WV passed away on October 17, 2024.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 6, 1967 to the late Bruce and Jane Vealey.

Mike worked as a mail carrier most of his early life as well as serving in the United States Army.  He really enjoyed motorcycles, shooting guns, collecting knives, and watching the History Channel.  Most of all, Mike loved to spend time with his loved ones.  Mike was one of the most easygoing souls you'd ever want to meet.  To know him was to love him, and he will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shannon Vealey; his adoptive mother, Carol Behery; and his sister Sarai Thomas.

Michael leaves behind his children, Ambyrea, Bruce, and Donavan Vealey, Brittany and Aaron Gilbert, Lee, Nicholas and Stefan Burgess, and Connor Nelson; his sister, Stacie Woods; and his grandkids that he loved more than life, Dyamond, De'Aaron, Christian, Drayden, Zayden, Ophelia, Roman, and Lavender.

The family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff at Memorial Hospital, and the staff at Keller Funeral Home for caring for Mike.

Services will be held at Donal C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
