Myrna Madeline (McComas) Dolin, 89, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Myrna was the daughter of the late E. E. and Lora J. McComas of Madison, West Virginia. She was a graduate of Scott High School in Madison and a longtime active member of Bethel Baptist Church in Spring Hill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ford Dolin; sisters, Ceacile Counts, Maxine McBrayer, Ruth Shropshire; brothers, Emil McComas, J. Edward McComas and Lou G. McComas.
She is survived by her son, Richard W. Dolin (Pat) of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Richard C. Dolin of So. Charleston, Angela M. Dolin, Chandra Beaman and Bill Boniface of Colorado Spings, CO; great grandchildren, Richard, Seth Jaclyn, Darin and Wayne; sister-in-law, Evelyn McComas of Red House; brother-in-law, Ira (Delores) Dolin of Danville and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
She will be sadly missed and remembered for her kind deeds, quick wit and love for her family and church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 14, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Doug McComas and the Rev. Chuck Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
