Myrna Loy Jones, 74 of Dunbar, went home to be with her heavenly father, Jesus Christ, on March 5, 2018.

She was a 1961 graduate of Dunbar High School and retired from CAMC after 27 years.

Our mother was beautiful, loving, giving, encouraging, independent, and most of all, courageous. She was a mother, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. She touched many lives in many ways.

Myrna was preceded in death by her father, W. Denver Means; her mother, Marcella Grailey Means; and her brother, D.K. Means.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamra Grueser (Mike); her son, Jeffery Scott Jones (Susan); grandchildren, Joshua Grueser, Shannon Jones, and Anthony Jones, all of Dunbar; sisters, Jean Vaughan (Wayne) of Powhatan, VA., Karen Ciampanella (John) of Charleston, Elizabeth Liston (Brad) of Cross Lanes; sister-in-law, Pat Means of Scott Depot. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

A service to honor the life of Myrna Loy Jones will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 9 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Randy Stanley officiating. Burial will be at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
