Nancy Belle Smith's Obituary
Nancy Belle Smith, 74, of Raleigh, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord July 23, 2009, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Nancy was born October 12, 1934, daughter of the late Elrama William "Ray" and Bessell Kathryn Smith. She was an employee of Bell Atlantic (Verizon) for over 30 years.
Surviving are her sister, Susan A. Meyer and her husband, Gil of Bear, DE; brothers, Neal D. Smith of Gallipolis, OH, Elrama W. "Corky" Smith, Jr. and his wife, Suzan of Sherwood, AR, Steven L. Smith and his wife, Betty of Raleigh, NC; sisters-in-law, Denise Richmond, Wilma and Eloise Smith. She will be sadly missed by her beloved nieces and nephews, Mary Katherine Thompson and her husband, Bill, Patricia Mary Harrison and her husband, Bill, David Neal Smith and his wife, Sherry, Zachary John Smith, Adam Ray Smith, Nicholas Ray Meyer and Jeffrey John Meyer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Charles LaRue officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 25, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
