Obituary

Nasser Taghavi Larijani, 64, of Kanawha City, passed away on September 17th, 2025 in Charleston.

Nasser was born on September 30,1960 in Tehran, Iran to the late Mansour Taghavi Larijani and Shokooh Lakghom.

He was a graduate of West Liberty University in Wheeling. He worked in the laboratoryat CAMC Women and Children's Hospital for 40 years.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and WVU Mountaineers football fan. He loved traveling and spending time with his many friends and family.

Nasser is survived by his children, Anthony (Genevieve) of Austin,Texas and Erica, of Cross Lanes; brother Masoud (Maryam) of Columbus, Ohio; sisters Faridah and Parvin, of Tehran. He is also survived by beloved grandson, Arthur.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Columbia Shelter at Coonskin Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Nasser's name.

Arrangements are in care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
