Natalie Ann Barton, 82, of South Charleston passed away June 28, 2014, at the Elizabeth Hubbard Hospice House.
She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church. Singing was the blessing and love of her life. She had been a soloist at Rock Lake Presbyterian Church and Baptist Temple. One of the greatest highlights of her life was in 1979 when she was the soprano soloist for the Charleston Symphony performance of the Handel's Messiah.
She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Barton, sister, Sally Jenkins, and Peggy Jones.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathy Barton; sons, Randy and Bob Barton; grandchildren, Heather, Robert, Emily, Mitchell Barton, and Joey Covert and 6 great grandchildren; niece, LouAnn Monday and nephew, Doug Jones. Special sons, Ricky Bays and John Tyler.
She was an employee of Health and Human Resources for many years in the Child Support Division. Those on the CB's knew her as "Raggedy Ann".
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Private burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Park at a later date.
